The 1971 Scorpion 275 Stingeroo
Here is a picture of Brett's "new" snowmobile. It's a 1971 Scorpion 275 Stingeroo. I think it looks like it belongs on an episode of Scooby Doo. We now have 3. I'll have to post a picture of the Cheetah and "Lightening" soon! Brett is always looking for a good deal. I'm sure the boys will have fun with them now that we have some snow!

Adrienne's Birthday
I turned 31 on Friday--I can't believe that I'm in my thirty-somethings. It's not so bad! Anyway, we had a great weekend. First I got to go to lunch with my girlfriends! Then later that night my sister Hilerie arrived in Blackfoot in time for Birthday Cake. Saturday we went to Colby's last Junior Jazz basketball game and then to Bubba's BBQ. It was great!
Here's the cake!

Here's the Baker! Brett did a great job on the cake, it was so delicious!

Here's me with the Baker and the cake!
Getting ready to make a wish....
Here's Hilerie...thanks for coming to visit!
Emily and Spencer came too!

This is Colby and Spencer having breakfast. Spencer wanted to do whatever Colby did. It was really cute!
This was my birthday cake request. Brett did such a good job that he'll be baking again next year on my birthday for sure. Thanks Babe!

5 weeks old!
The Best Brother
I am so proud of what a good big brother Colby has been in the last 5 weeks! He helps me with Jolie constantly and is so loving. Wednesday I needed to get ready to go to Pocatello with Brett so I jumped in the shower. Anyway, Jolie was in her crib and Colby was just playing with his toys. I was about half-way done but I was worried about the baby, so I called to Colby and asked if the baby was crying. He came and told me, "She's fine, I'm singing her songs!"
Jolie was howling in the backseat when I went to pick Colby up from school when she was about two weeks old. Colby jumped in the back seat with her and said, "Don't cry, You're a pretty Princess!" I almost died--it was so cute. He talks to her like that all the time in a sweet baby talk voice. What a good brother!

The Stoddard Elementary Christmas Program
This years Christmas program was just as cute and fun to watch as last years! The second grade sang two songs, "The Chipmunk Song," and "Nuttin for Christmas". Colby did a great job singing, doing the actions (even though he didn't want to), and playing the symbols for the second song.
Here's Colby smiling for me right before they got started. I was glad he could see where we were sitting because....I chose the wrong side of the auditorium!

Birthday Celebration!
Brett and I were able to go to a Birthday party with all the people from our birthing classes. It was really fun to see everyone with their babies and to hear how everything went.
This is Nicole Lamb, the midwife who delivered Jolie! She is a wonderful woman and I really appreciated how she could be so professional and caring. We had a great experience with her.

Does She Look Like ME?
Thanksgiving 2007
We had a nice Thanksgiving in Blackfoot this year. I stayed home with the baby during the feast, but then we were able to visit with Kim and Erick's family and Scott and Kara Lee's family on Friday and Saturday. Colby slept over and Grandma and Grandpa Yancey's so he could have extra cousin time. He loves to play with Kim's kids whenever he can!
Here is a picture of Brett in the Turkey/Pumpkin glasses that Colby made at school--so funny! Dad is always a good sport!

Here are some pictures of our family with baby Jolie.

More Basketball!
Here is a very serious Colby with his team before his game today. Colby has really enjoyed basketball and has vastly improved his dribbling skills since Grandma Diane bought him his own ball while she was here. He practices almost everyday now! Anyway...they won the game today 16 to 8. Good Job Colby!

Taking Colby to School
Ok...this morning Jolie and I had to take Colby to school for the first time since her arrival. Let's just say, tomorrow we need to get up 5-10 minutes earlier for a more successful drop off! This warm furry Winnie the Pooh snow suit is courtesy of Kareena Mullens. It was hard for her to part with it so I am sending her this thank you shout out via blogspot--THANKS KAREENA!
