Stunt Boy at the Diversion

The Diversion, or "the D," is a place that the Yancey's frequent often, especially the boy Yancey's! It's the closest and most convenient place to go diggin and to ride dirt bikes. Brett grew up playing out there and now Colby loves it too.

Colby is getting better and better on his dirt bike. He’s taking corners a little faster, and making new trails with dad. Today he did a stunt and we were so surprised! I had to ask him to do it again so I could get it on camera.

Meatloaf's Haircut

This is our dog Meatloaf. He is a long-hair chihuahua...but today he got a haircut! We really love him. We need to find him a ninja costume for Halloween to match Colby. Please let me know if you spot one haha!

This is Meatloaf out at the "D" watching Colby and dad on their dirt bikes.

Our SUPER Ninja

I know Halloween is still a month away, but guess what...they are already selling costumes everywhere. Because Colby is in a "ninja phase," we thought that we would go ahead and buy the costume early so he could get ample use and really develop his character. He put it on in the car after the sale was final. He already practiced pulling his swords out while hanging upside down on grandpa's monkey bars. It was awesome. I'm sure there will be more pictures to post in the next 4 weeks ha!

The Eastern Idaho State Fair

On Labor Day my parents came up to Blackfoot for a visit and to take us to the Eastern Idaho State Fair! I bet you didn't know that Blackfoot is where the fair has been located since 1902. They brought my niece Ali as a surprise for Colby and he was so happy to see her. We had fun walking around looking at everything even though it was as hot as the surface of the sun that day.

Here is Grandpa Henry as a farmer!

Grandma Sheep

Ali as a crazy sheep

Colby as an ear of corn

This was at the end of the day after we walked around for 27 hours in hundred degree weather ha! Cute cousins!

It was windy!

Camping With the Yancey's

This weekend we went camping with our friends at Palisades Reservoir near Swan Valley, ID. It's the first camping trip we've had in quite awhile...and it was pretty fun! Colby got some good dirt bike practice in and it was nice to hang out in the mountains.

Brett and Colby in front of the tent...Unfortunately our air mattress deflated in the middle of the night and it started raining haha!!
